It's kinda funny when the Jews react to Jesus when they heard this. They claim that Jesus is demon-possessed and their father Abraham died therefore.. Jesus is crazy? It's just such a stupid answer! The truth is that Jesus was there even before creation.. But it's sad just to hear their words and actions.. especially when they were going to stone Jesus..
I can't stop thinking about if I would have been one of the Jews. It's sad to say but.. I might have been.. probably blinded by my sins.. I think this is why it's important to have small groups, large groups, discipleship, accountability partners.. etc.. just to have others keep accountable for each other.. making sure we all run the race together.
